The world can be seen
differently.
“My photographic research began with an intuition, long before I could give it a name. It began with walking.”
In city streets, along the sea, among walls and architecture, I recognise relationships between lines, shapes, colours and light. Fragments of everyday life offer themselves to the gaze as an unexpected unity.
I call this passage the abstract-real: an abstraction recognised in reality, one that truly existed before the lens. Harmony arises when different elements enter into a relationship without losing their identity.

Active in photography since the 1990s, I have devoted myself entirely to it since 2013. My architectural background informs my attention to relationships between forms, light and space, at the heart of The Hidden Harmony.
