Care.

During renovation, buildings are clothed in scaffolding, netting and sheeting. Their temporary presence changes the urban landscape: it conceals some shapes, reveals others, and introduces new textures and relationships of light.

Care arises from these encounters. The structures needed to repair architecture become an opportunity to reflect on the attention that enables us to sustain what is entrusted to us: ourselves, others and the environment we inhabit.

Care requires time, continuity and responsibility. The project seeks its visible form in building sites, where protection and transformation belong to the same gesture. From this concrete experience, the gaze opens towards our relationship with the living world: caring for it means recognising that our existence also depends on what we are able to safeguard.
