PROJECTS / FEMININE
Feminine.
Represented figures and presences in urban space.
Feminine grew out of long walks in Milan, from encounters between female images on posters and the forms of the city. Represented faces and bodies enter into dialogue with walls, windows, stones and shadows: framing gathers these encounters and transforms them into poetic presences.
Along my journey, those figures have taken on the character of muses, capable of awakening sensitivity and guiding the gaze. Interwoven with this feeling is a deeper experience, shaped also by fatherhood: learning to recognise the desires, freedoms and possibilities that a still unequal society grants differently to women and men.
The project holds attraction, devotion and respect together. In the interplay between figure and context, it seeks an image in which the female presence can open a space of encounter and recognition.
